Green O Construction

FAQ

The questions Beaverton homeowners actually ask.

Are you licensed in Oregon?

Yes — CCB #204939, active since 2008, General Contractor (Unlimited) for residential and commercial. Verify at ccb.oregon.gov.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes — $2,000,000 General Liability, Workers Compensation on all crew, $1,000,000 Auto Liability, plus the CCB-required surety bond. Certificates available before contract signing.

Do you do free estimates?

Yes — every estimate is free. We come to the property, walk it with you, and follow up with a written scope. No high-pressure close at the kitchen table.

How long does a typical roof replacement take?

1–3 days for a typical 2,000–3,000 sq ft pitched residential roof: tear-off and dry-in on day 1, shingle install and final cleanup on day 2–3. Multi-layer tear-offs, complex flashing, or storms can add a day.

Do you do storm and insurance work?

Yes. Same-day tarp service Mon–Sat during business hours. We write the scope adjusters actually approve and document damage with photos and drone scans. We don't chase storms — we've been in Beaverton for 17 years.

Do you offer financing?

Yes — we partner with Hearth and Service Finance Co. for HELOC and construction-to-perm options. We don't approve financing ourselves; we hand you off to the lender after the scope is set.

How long is the warranty?

Roofing: CertainTeed SELECT ShingleMaster 4-Star lets us register a 50-year material warranty in YOUR name (not ours), plus our 15-year workmanship guarantee. Other trades: 5–10 year written workmanship warranty depending on scope.

Do you have an architect on staff?

Yes. Emma Ruiz is our architect on payroll — full-time employee, not a referral. Stamped drawings for ADUs, additions, kitchen/bath remodels, and commercial fit-outs.

Do you have a structural engineer?

Yes. Adnan Alkamati, PE, is on retainer for stamped structural review — additions, foundations, seismic retrofits, commercial. Civil and geotechnical PE partners on call for site/drainage/soils work.

Are you veteran-owned?

Yes. Owner Gabriel Horta Blancas is a U.S. Army veteran (2004–2006). Verify via DD-214 on request.

Are you bilingual?

Yes. Bilingual EN/ES site leads on every crew, and we publish a full Spanish version of this site at /es.

What areas do you serve?

Beaverton, Portland, Hillsboro, Tigard, Aloha, Cornelius, Forest Grove, Tualatin, Lake Oswego, Sherwood, Wilsonville, West Linn — 30-mile radius from Beaverton is our primary, but we take projects beyond when the work fits.

What are your hours?
