The problem
Why most jobs like this go sideways.
Foundation and structural work is where general contractors get bitten - slow rented excavators, unclear or absent engineering, scope creep that doubles the price. You deserve a contractor who OWNS the equipment, has PE engineers on retainer (not on a 6-week wait), and will tell you when you DON'T need the expensive fix. We own our excavators, our forms, our scaffolding - so when we say we'll be in the dirt next Tuesday, we will be.

Questions, answered
Frequently asked.
How do I know if my foundation actually needs repair?
Cracks > 1/4" wide, doors sticking, floors sloping - those are signals. We do free assessments and won't sell you work you don't need. That's not marketing, that's how we've survived 17 years.
Do I need an engineer for a retaining wall?
Yes if it retains > 4ft of soil, or if it's near a structure. We engage the PE for you - and a wall built without engineering is one that comes down in the next freeze-thaw, on your insurance.
Can you fix drainage without re-grading the whole yard?
Often yes - French drains, downspout extensions, dry wells. We start with the cheapest fix that actually works.
What happens if I pick the wrong contractor?
Foundation work without engineering = no warranty, no insurance coverage if it fails, no resale value when the buyer's inspector finds it. Worst case: you pay twice - once for the bad fix, once to tear it out. Engineer-stamped work costs more upfront, costs less forever.
Do I need a structural engineer for my project?
If you are touching load-bearing walls, foundation, or framing, yes. We have 3 PE engineering partners on retainer — no waiting weeks for an outside firm.
Can you handle foundation lifts and underpinning?
Yes — owned excavators in-house. PE-stamped scope. Permit in our name.
